Find someone who would be willing to do some fun activities with them throughout the week. A fun, energetic college or high school student would be perfect for the job.

Break your parenting rules

Summer is supposed to be a fun time for everyone. Instead of stressing out, why not ease up on the parental dogma? Let the kids eat leftover pizza or cereal for breakfast. Let the kids to go to bed later than their usual sleeping time. Let them sleep in if you can.

Get family members, friends or neighbors to look after the kids

Some families can’t afford to hire a babysitter throughout the summer. In this case, you may want to seek help from family members, friends or even your neighbors in keeping an eye on your little ones.
